Refund policy

Overview

This policy applies to online orders placed with Pool Table Shop. It does not limit or replace your statutory consumer rights.

Change-of-Mind Cancellations

For eligible standard, non-personalised goods bought online, you may notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the goods are delivered. After notifying us, you must return the goods within a further 14 days.

To request a cancellation or return, email info@pooltableshop.co.uk or call 0121 769 1588. Please provide your name, order number and the product concerned.

Pool tables and related products can be large, heavy and professionally installed. Do not dismantle an item or send it to our administrative postal address. We will provide written return, collection or approved-carrier instructions.

Condition of Returned Goods

You may inspect goods in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop. You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Any lawful deduction will be explained.

Change-of-Mind Return Costs

For an eligible change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise. If specialist collection or dismantling is required and we arrange it, the method and cost will be confirmed before the service is booked. We do not charge a separate flat administration or restocking fee for an eligible statutory cancellation.

Made-to-Order and Personalised Goods

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This may include tables made to individual dimensions, finishes, cloth, branding or other bespoke requirements.

Please contact us promptly if you wish to cancel such an order. We will confirm whether production has started, whether cancellation is available and any reasonable direct cost that lawfully applies. No undisclosed cancellation charge will be added.

Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact us promptly with your order number, details of the issue and photographs where reasonably possible. Reporting visible damage promptly helps us investigate but does not remove your statutory rights.

Where the goods do not conform to the contract, we will provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law and cover reasonable return or collection costs where we are responsible for the return.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method. For an eligible change-of-mind cancellation, we will process the refund within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or acceptable evidence that they have been sent back, as applicable.

Where required by law, the refund will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order. Additional charges for an upgraded delivery method are not refundable unless required by law or agreed by us.
